We took the feedback of our fans and went back to the drawing board. After numerous research and adjustments, our engineers emerged from the depths of our lab with a new internal design that’s nothing short of an evolution. We kept the magnetostatic dynamic driver hybrid which put the OG Tape on the map. The same quick and dynamic music reproduction and excellent separation are still here.
With the new driver placement and filter, we have tamed the 4KHz peak, increased vertical soundscape and made the frequency response smoother across the whole spectrum.

Dual-pin connectors are proven to have better third party cable compatibility and our dual-pin receptors are reinforced as well. On the other hand, our engineers went to great length to source the brand new stock cable for an exciting grey-white helix look. The cable is constructed with 368-strands silver-plated monocrystalline copper, terminated with a 2.5mm TRRS connector. A 90-degree 3.5mm single ended adapter is included as well.trum.
Bass Tuning Screws
Although Tape Pro has a satisfying stock tuning, we wanted to add another layer of customizability. We came up with a physical screw mechanism instead of dip switches because...uh...because we can! With the screw positions swapped, the bass region can be boosted up by 2db.
Rugged construction
The distinct look of Tape also made an encore. The same high quality chassis is milled out of a solid piece of aluminum by a 5-axis CNC process, with an industry-leading precision down to a tee. This level of care reduces resonance within the acoustic chambers of the Tape Pro, and offers balanced frequencies across every octave.
New nozzle filters
We have included a screw-on nozzle filter for ease of cleaning. Just when your earwax is starting to affect the performance of the units, take it out and give it a quick wash, dry it up and back to business.
